Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and other material-handling equipment, including clamp lifts and cherry pickers/order pickers. Qualified candidates must have at least one year of hands-on mechanic experience servicing Hyster, Raymond, and Crown equipment.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Perform routine maintenance and preventive inspections.
Troubleshoot engines, batteries, charging systems, and related components.
Inspect, maintain, and repair clamp attachments and their hydraulic systems.
Inspect equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Follow workplace safety procedures and keep the work area organized.
Requirements
At least one year of hands-on experience as a mechanic maintaining and repairing Hyster, Raymond, and Crown forklifts and other lifts, including clamp lifts and cherry pickers/order pickers.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, engine, and battery systems.
Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform essential job duties, including lifting, bending, and working in a shop or warehouse environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
