Job Description

About Progressive Dental Marketing

Progressive Dental Marketing is a full-service dental marketing and growth agency dedicated to helping dental practices across the country attract new patients and grow their businesses.

Our team specializes in paid digital advertising, search engine optimization, website development, video production, and comprehensive marketing strategy. We work with dental practices of all sizes, helping them generate qualified patient inquiries for services ranging from general dentistry to high-value treatments such as dental implants and cosmetic procedures.

Our digital advertising team plays a critical role in delivering measurable results for our clients, and we're looking for an experienced specialist who understands how to turn advertising budgets into meaningful business opportunities.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist with a strong background in Google Ads and Meta Ads to independently manage paid advertising campaigns for a portfolio of dental practice clients. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of direct, hands-on experience managing paid advertising accounts and is comfortable developing, launching, optimizing, and reporting on campaigns without requiring extensive technical supervision.

We're looking for someone who understands that successful digital advertising involves much more than generating clicks. You should understand the complete lead journey, from the initial advertisement and landing page experience to the submission of an inquiry, appointment scheduling, and eventual conversion into a patient. You'll work closely with our Team Leads, Account Executives, and creative teams to develop effective advertising strategies that generate qualified leads while maintaining responsible budget management and consistent performance.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Advertising Campaign Management

  • Independently build, launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and OpenAI Ads.
  • Manage a portfolio of dental practice advertising accounts, ensuring campaigns align with client objectives, budgets, and target markets.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience research to inform campaign strategy.
  • Develop campaign structures, ad groups, targeting parameters, ad copy, and creative recommendations tailored to specific services and geographic markets.
  • Monitor campaign performance regularly and make proactive adjustments to improve efficiency and lead generation results.
  • Manage advertising budgets, pacing, bidding strategies, audience targeting, and geographic settings to maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Identify underperforming campaigns and independently implement optimization strategies.
  • Develop and test new ad copy, creative variations, audience segments, and campaign approaches to improve performance.
  • Ensure campaigns follow platform advertising policies and internal quality standards.

Lead Generation & Conversion Optimization

  • Understand and evaluate the full lead generation journey, including advertising engagement, landing page experience, form submissions, phone calls, and appointment inquiries.
  • Optimize campaigns for qualified patient leads rather than focusing exclusively on traffic or engagement metrics.
  • Evaluate landing page performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including CPL, CPC, CTR, CVR, lead volume, and lead quality.
  • Work with Account Executives to understand client feedback regarding lead quality, appointment conversion, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Use performance data and lead feedback to make informed recommendations for campaign improvements.
  • Support accurate conversion tracking across websites, landing pages, lead forms, and phone calls.

Campaign Development & Creative Execution

  • Write compelling advertising copy that aligns with client services, target audiences, and conversion objectives.
  • Develop or adapt static and video advertising assets using Canva or similar creative tools.
  • Collaborate with internal creative and web teams to develop advertising assets and landing pages that support campaign performance.
  • Ensure messaging remains consistent between advertisements, landing pages, and the intended patient experience.
  • Identify opportunities for creative testing and campaign expansion based on performance trends.

Reporting, Communication & Collaboration

  • Regularly review account performance and provide clear, actionable updates to Team Leads and Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate campaign documentation, reporting, and optimization records.
  • Communicate proactively when campaigns experience performance challenges, tracking issues, or budget concerns.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and account strategy discussions.
  • Collaborate with other digital specialists to share successful strategies, troubleshoot challenges, and improve departmental performance.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads platform updates, advertising best practices, and emerging campaign optimization opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing paid advertising accounts in both Google Ads and Meta Ads, experience in TikTok Ads and OpenAI Ads is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently create and manage complete advertising campaigns from strategy and setup through launch, optimization, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of paid search and paid social campaign structures, targeting options, bidding strategies, and budget management.
  • Experience managing lead generation campaigns with measurable conversion objectives.
  • Clear understanding of the lead journey and how advertising, landing pages, conversion tracking, and follow-up processes influence campaign success.
  • Proficiency in analyzing campaign performance metrics and translating data into meaningful optimization decisions.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking implementation.
  • Experience conducting keyword research, audience research, and competitive analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in advertising copy development and performance reporting.
  • Ability to work independently, troubleshoot campaign issues, and take ownership of assigned accounts.

What Success Looks Like

  • Assigned client accounts consistently meet established lead generation and campaign performance objectives.
  • Advertising budgets are managed responsibly, with minimal overspending or underutilization.
  • Campaigns are launched accurately, on schedule, and according to established company standards.
  • Performance challenges are identified and addressed proactively, with minimal intervention from Team Leads.
  • Advertising decisions are supported by data, conversion tracking, and lead quality feedback.
